Latta Washington Internship Scholarship

The Latta Washington Scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a major or minor in the School of Public and International Affairs. The award is intended for students who wish to participate in an internship (for credit or no credit) with the federal government (executive, legislative or judicial branch) in Washington DC, but are restricted from doing so because of financial hardship, as determined by the scholarship review committee. Preference will be given to students from North Carolina. Awards may be made to students in any year of their academic career. Preference will be given for summer internships. Selection criteria will include scholastic achievement, leadership skills, and commitment to public service. Awards are not renewable.
