John Washington Clark Scholarship

The John Washington Clark scholarship was established to benefit an incoming freshman with demonstrated financial need, enrolling in the College of Engineering or the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The recipient must be a graduate of a North Carolina high school. Preference given to students who have worked and saved money for their education.

• Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
• Must maintain full time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
• Remain in a CALS or COE undergraduate program pursuing first undergraduate degree
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
  Conditions
• Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
• Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any “outside” awards, may not exceed the cost of attendance
• Recipients meeting the requirements listed above are given priority consideration for funding for the next academic year
