Bonnie Covington

The Jack L. and Bonnie F. Covington Memorial Scholarship was established on January 13, 2004 in memory of Jack Covington, a native of North Carolina. He served in the US Army Corps of Engineering as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He started Wilson-Covington Construction, Inc., where he remained until his death. He was also a member of the North Carolina State Building Code Council, The Winston-Salem Board of Realtors, Forsyth County Board of Commissioners, and the Winston-Salem-Forsyth County Utility.
