College of Engineering (Mitchell)

The Charles S. Mitchell Scholarship Fund was established on April 12, 1972. It was created by The Cities Service Foundation of New York City in memory of Charles S. Mitchell, an alumnus of NC State and native North Carolinian. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and then became the Chairman of the Board of Cities Service Company.
