Dr. and Mrs. Reginald W. Ponder

Established by Dr. and Mrs. Reginald W. Ponder, the scholarship provides support to outstanding students enrolled in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, with a specific preference to students involved in service activities. An active student while enrolled at NC State, Dr. Ponder received his degree in 1958. He has had a long, successful career in the United Methodist Church and has served in leadership roles in numerous civic organizations. Dr. Ponder is a current member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.
