Dr. Michael and Mrs. Betsy Sink

Dr. Mike (Animal Science ’78) and Betsy Sink are long-time NC State fans and supporters. Mike’s dad and uncles were NC State graduates as are Mike and their son, Aaron (AgriBusiness Management ’05). Mike and his dad, Max (Animal Industry ’51), are veterinarians who have practiced in High Point, North Carolina, since Max started the practice in 1963. Mike received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia in 1979, just before the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine opened in 1980. Betsy and Mike have two married children – Meredith and her husband, Chat Antley, and Aaron and his wife, Kelly (Animal Science ’04) – and five grandchildren. Both Mike and Betsy have been involved in the NC Veterinary Medical Association and have been honored to be a part of the veterinary profession in our state. They feel that they have been blessed to have owned and operated High Point Veterinary Hospital since 2004. It is their wish to return some of their good fortune to the profession through the scholarship they have created.
