Dr. R. Reynolds Cowles Jr. and Evelyn C. Cowles

Dr. R. Reynolds Cowles Jr. and Evelyn C. Cowles established this scholarship. Dr. Cowles is the founder of Blue Ridge Equine, a 1963 graduate of NCSU, former president of the Agri-Life Council and past member of Alpha Zeta as well. In addition to his veterinary services with Blue Ridge Equine, his hobbies include fox hunting, bird shooting and fly-fishing. Mrs. Cowle graduated from Ethyl Walkers in 1969 and from Sweetbriar College in 1973. She is an artist and an accomplished horsewoman who managed the family breeding farm for twenty years.
