George J. Joncas

The Richard P. Joncas Memorial Scholarship in Paper Science and Technology was established in 2013 by Mr. George J. Joncas, the son of Richard Joncas. When fully funded, the endowment will be used to provide scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Paper Science curriculum.

Richard P. Joncas worked in the paper industry and he was involved with the Paper Science Recruiting committee. He served as mill manager for the Cascades Industry.

George Joncas received his BS in Pulp and Paper Science and Technology in 1989 and his BS in Chemical Engineering in 1990, both from NC State.
