Harry Sideris

Harry Sideris (Chemical Engineering ’94) is the Executive Vice President for Customer Experience, Solutions and Services at Duke Energy. He is an active member of the NC State community, serving on the Board for the College of Natural Resources since 2014 and a diehard Wolfpack sports fan. Harry and his wife, Catinna, currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their two daughters, Mari and Zoey.

Harry grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, and was the son of immigrants from Greece. He has fond memories of his time at NC State, and his experience had a lasting impact and served as a foundation for success in life and business. The work ethic, knowledge and, most importantly, the interpersonal and relationship skills learned at NC State have served him well.

Harry hopes that the Sideris Family Scholarship will allow more students the opportunity to pursue degrees and careers and acquire the same skills he did in chemical engineering and in paper science and engineering. These degrees will play a vital role in the future of our world, and NC State does an amazing job in providing the tools for our graduates to Think and Do the Extraordinary, making impact that will be felt across the world. Giving back to a place that has given him so much and supporting others as they chase their dreams is a sense of obligation and pride for Harry. Go Pack!
