Jo Ann Madren

I set up this scholarship to honor my deceased husband, Frank Simpson Madren. Frank graduated NCSU in Electrical Engineering in 1961 and from Harvard University receiving an MBA in 1965. For 20 years he was the CEO of a computer networking company in Silicon Valley. At NC State Frank was President of the Engineers’ Council and received the Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship all 4 years. He came in touch with his first computer at NCSU and spent his career in computers.
