In honor of Commissioner James A. Graham
The scholarship was established in honor of Commissioner James A. Graham, a 1942 graduate of NCSU, and Commissioner of Agriculture for 36 years. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit to two-year and four-year students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NC State University. Students enrolled in the four-year undergraduate program must also complete coursework in journalism, communication, and/or public policy beyond their degree requirements or pursue the undergraduate minor in Leadership in Agriculture and Life Sciences.
