I have been at member of the NC State faculty since 1981 and felt that I was able to achieve many laurels due to the environment at NC State and the opportunities provided. Thus my wife and I felt that it is time to ‘give back.’ In addition, it fulfills our family tradition (back home in India) of philanthropic giving.
Impact
Coming from a highly philanthropic family, both I and my wife established this scholarship and the scholarship recipients will also feel that way and ‘give back’ after their successful completion of studies at NC State and entered profitable careers.
