Kenneth D. Franklin/ Wanda B. Franklin

I graduated from NC State in 1971 and received the first Alpha Pi Mu Outstanding Sophomore Award. After graduation, I took an “interim” job with Southern Bell which lasted 37 years. After being retired for a year, AT&T requested me to do a three month consulting job which has lasted 6 years. My wife, Wanda, and I grew up in Asheville, NC and we were married in 1971. We moved to Atlanta in 1974 where we live now. We have one son, Kenneth, who played football at Davidson College and went to law school at UGA. He is married to Alison, a lawyer, and they have one daughter, Charlotte, born August 2014.
