Kirk Semke

The Kirk Semke Endowed Scholarship was established in 1996 by Kirk Semke.
Dr. Semke received his BS in Chemical Engineering in 1958 from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. He received his MS and Ph.D. in 1960 and 1963 from the Institute of Paper Chemistry in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was then employed for 33 years by Riegel Paper Corp., followed by Federal Paper Board Co., and finally International Paper Company.
