Lori Freeze Constantino and Michael T. Constantino

Lori Freeze Constantino (Business Management ’84) grewup in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and started attending NC State football games with her family in the mid-1970s. She also spent several summers at Norm Sloan’s basketball camp and knew from an early age that she wanted to attend NC State.

Mike (Business Management ’84; Accounting ’85) and Lori met at NC State in 1983 through their involvement in establishing NC State’s chapter of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. They were married in 1985. After graduation, Lori worked in the mortgage industry, including 15 years at GE Mortgage Insurance Company (now Genworth Financial). Mike had a 32-year career with EY (Ernst & Young). Lori and Mike have been active members of the NC State community throughout their lives, and they are lifetime members of the Wolfpack Club and NC State Alumni Association. They are passionate about NC State and have endowed scholarships for football, basketball, the Poole College of Management and the College of Education, as well as supporting several other NC State programs and initiatives.

Lori’s parents, Barbara and Curtis Freeze (Textiles ’53), loved cheering on the Wolfpack and were football season ticket holders for over four decades. As music lovers, they rarely missed a halftime performance and an opportunity to see the Power Sound of the South in action. While, sadly, Curtis passed away in 2018, Barbara avidly carries on their spirit and passion for the Wolfpack. Lori and her husband, Mike, wish to celebrate that dedication by supporting students in the marching band program that brought her parents so much joy at NC State events.
