Mary L. Walek

A faculty member at NC State University from 1973 until her retirement in 2003, Mary Walek loved her chosen field of study (Anthropology) and was passionate about working with undergraduate students, including both teaching and advising. This scholarship was established by Dr. Walek prior to her passing in 2021 as a way to provide support to students who share her passion and enthusiasm for Anthropology.
