Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Sova

The scholarship was established by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sova, in loving memory of their son, Brandon Lee Sova. Brandon was starting his sophomore year at NC State when he was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 2004. Mrs. Sova is a former Assistant Dean of Finance for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The award is intended for students who are a graduate of Clayton High School and who have an outstanding record of community service and commitment to the welfare of others.
