Mr. and Mrs. Michael McCarthy

Paul Elam McCarthy graduated from NC State University with a degree in Biological Sciences in 2001. He was attending Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry at the time of this death. Paul was enthusiastically involved in many activities, clubs, and volunteer work while at NC State and he truly loved his school. His dream was to become a dentist, using the knowledge and maturity he gained at NC State and his desire to improve the quality of life for others. This scholarship was established in recognition of his greatest gift of all, the friendship and fellowship he cultivated with those who loved him.
