The Dixie Flyers Association, Inc. who provide the support for the annual convention of dairy food manufacturers, fostering the development of the dairy food industry. The Dixie Flyers Association was comprised of dairy suppliers organized to promote the production, processing, storage and distribution of milk and dairy products. The association was established over 20 years ago, and in 2010 became dormant. During its active years, the association funded scholarships for students in dairy manufacturing-related majors. At the time of the signing of the scholarship agreement, the association?۪s treasury has been divided among several institutions to create the scholarship funds to support students interested in careers in dairy manufacturing and the food science fields
