Mr. Curtis Fentress

Curtis Fentress was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. While attending high school he discovered a passion for design through drafting and engineering courses. He continued his education at North Carolina State University College of Design where he studied architecture. During this time he was awarded with the AIA-AIAF Fellowship, a a Graham Foundation Fellowship, and the Alpha Rho Chi Medal. In 2010 he was honored with the “Distinguished Alumni Award.” After graduating he worked in firms such as I.M. Pei and Partners, and Kohn Pedersen Fox. In January of 1980 he established his own studio. He is internationally recognized for his design portfolio of building that are found in cities around the world.
