Bayer Crop Science established this scholarship in an effort to encourage and promote leadership development in the area of Agricultural and Extension Education, to promote agricultural literacy, and to promote a balanced perspective among the public concerning the quality of our food supply. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of potential for academic excellence, leadership activities, extracurricular achievements, and interest in Agricultural and Extension Education.
