Mr. David P. Harvey

Dr. Paul Henry Harvey, Professor William Neal Reynolds, and Professor Emeritus for the Department of Crop Science, established this scholarship in an effort to express his love for agriculture, students, and NC State University. During his tenure at NC State, Dr. Harvey was instrumental in organizing Farm House Social Fraternity and Gamma Sigma Delta. He served as Department Head for the Department of Crop Science and his research accomplishments stand among the key factors in the success of hybrid corn in the United States.
