Mr. Douglas Westmoreland, AIA
Doug Westmoreland is a 1978 graduate of the NC State University School of Design with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degree. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1981 from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, graduating with the Henry Adams AIA gold medal. He was a founding partner of BCWH Architects in Richmond Virginia. He left the firm in 2003 to become a partner in Moseley Architects, also located in Richmond. There he continues a distinguished career in K-12 public education facilities.
Impact
Doug Westmoreland has been instrumental in directing his firms to be supporters of the School of Architecture, establishing student fellowships and providing summer internships for NC State Architecture students.
