Mr. & Mrs. Charles W. Kelly III
This endowment was originally established in 2006 by the Raleigh Chapter of the ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) to honor the chapter’s founder and first president, Charles ‘Chip’ W. Kelly III. Kelly worked for SAS Institute in a variety of roles for almost three decades, rising to the position of Chief Information Security Officer, a role he maintained from 2000 until he retired from SAS in 2013. He obtained his BS in Forestry from Rutgers University, a MS in Forestry & Genetics from NC State University, and a MS in Forensic Accounting from New England College. The Raleigh Chapter of the ISSA proudly honors their former leader, a passionate advocate of the information security industry.
