Mr. & Mrs. D. Edwin Rose

D. Edwin Rose established this scholarship in 1997. Mr. Rose is an alumnus of NC State, holding a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Construction Option, class of 1982. He began his career with Shelco in 1983 as a Project Manager. In 1992 he was named President and Chief Operating Officer and in January 2000 he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rose is responsible for and has prevailed in the overall success of Shelcoês Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Raleigh offices. Under his leadership and guidance, Shelcoês annual revenues consistently rank among the largest general contractors in the Southeast.
