Mr. & Mrs. Don Mafrige

Golda Mauney established this scholarship in memory of her husband, Sidney F. Mauney, Jr. in 1986. Mr. Mauney, Jr. is an alumnus of NC State, holding a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, class of 1922. While at NC State, Mr. Mauney, also known as “Sugar Foot”, participated in the Leazer Literary Society, the Berzelius Chemical Society, and the House Student Government. His professional interest was in chemical engineering.
