Mr. & Mrs. John B. Ballance

The Materials Research Society established this scholarship in 2008 in honor of John B. Balance upon his retirement as their Executive Director. Mr. Balance is an alumnus of NC State, holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Materials Science & Engineering, classes of 1965 and 1967, respectively.
