Mr. Reginald Strickland, Mr. Herman Sampson

Mr. Reginald “Reggie” Strickland established this endowment to help present and future Agricultural Institute students have the opportunity to obtain the necessary skills to succeed in today’s agricultural environment. Mr. Strickland, an Agricultural Institute alumni, wanted to honor Mr. Allen Beals and Mr. Herman Sampson for their guidance, love, and support while he was enrolled at NC State. They were instrumental in helping him succeed at NC State and helping him prepare himself for his future in Agribusiness. This merit-based scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Agricultural Institute who are majoring in either Agribusiness Management, Agribusiness Management with Horticulture Option, or Field Crops Technology.
