Mr. Ryan T. Harrison
Ryan Harrison recieved a Masters degree in Industrial Design from the College of Design in 2005. The following year his daughter Etta Bea was born. This scholarship is in honor of his daughter and is given to students who show strong community leadership within the Industrial Design department. Ryan believe that “community leaders have an important role in the university to help boost academic experience and enrich the lives of fellow students. Community leaders assist the program through their volunteer work events and functions. They assist their peers by tutoring an sharing useful experiences. They aid fellow students in the completion of their projects through feedback and or hands-on assistance. they also act as ambassadors for the Industrial Design program to the outside world wither through college tours, design related events, or by; bringing design related programs to the college. In a nutshell, the individual who receives this reward is a helpful person whose mere presence benefits the NC State Industrial Design experience.”
