Mr. William D. Poe, Jr.

This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Benjamin W. Kilgore, Sr., Mr. Benjamin W. Kilgore, Jr., Mr. Clarence Poe, and Mr. William D. Poe who were all former editors or officers of The Progressive Farmer. This fund was created by the Kilgore and Poe families to provide funding to the young men and women who study Agricultural Education in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University.
