Mrs. Donald A. Halsey

Mr. Donald Halsey served with the NCAES for 30 years in Surry and Onslow counties with 22 of those years being as an extension chairman in Onslow County. This merit-based scholarship is awarded to entering students from Onslow County enrolling in either the two-year or four-year program in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Second preference may go to students entering Forestry in the College of Natural Resources. If there are no eligible freshmen from Onslow County, upperclassmen from Onslow County may be considered.
