Mrs. Eunice Toussaint

Alumni, family, and friends established this award of Dr. William D. “Bill” Toussaint to honor his exceptional leadership in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at NC State University and throughout North Carolina. Dr. Toussaint was an agricultural economics faculty member from 1954 through 1991 and the Head of Economics and Business from 1967 to 1982. He distinguished himself as a teacher of economics and farm management and was well known in North Carolina agricultural circles as a trusted educator, leader and advisor. His unique and caring ways were widely recognized by the people whose lives were enhanced by his teaching, friendship and advice. Dr. Toussaint died in 2000.
