Mrs. Madelyn P. and Mr. J. Lloyd Langdon

J. Lloyd Langdon was the President of Pet Incorporated – Dairy Group, where he doubled the company’s earnings during his leadership. He was a 1940 graduate of NC State and a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He also served as an officer in the US Army Air Force during World War II. In addition to this Marketing scholarship, the Langdon’s have also established the Distinguished University Professorship in Marketing award, which enables the college to recruit renowned professors, expanding the college’s research, outreach and executive education efforts.
