Mrs. Peaches G.Blank

The scholarship was established by Peaches Gunter Blank, in honor of her father, Daniel C. Gunter, Jr. Mr. Gunter was the 1997 recipient of the Watauga Medal, the university’s highest award for non-academic achievement. Mrs. Blank received degrees from the university in both Political Science and Public Administration. Mrs. Blank has held several volunteer leadership positions at NC State including serving on the NC State Board of Visitors and Board of Trustees and she is also a former member of the UNC Board of Governors.
