Ms. Jennie Gentry

This scholarship was established by the N.C. Ag Communicators Network. Formerly known as the N.C. Farm Writers and Broadcaster’s Association, it exists exclusively for charitable and educational purposes associated with its agricultural communications mission. This non-profit organization has been helping connect agricultural journalists with farmers and public officials for around 50 years. It is the networks hope that students who receive this scholarship will use it to learn the history and modern practices associated with the profession of communications and eventually realize and emphasize the importance of ethical communications no matter what area of agriculture they eventually enter.
