Ms. Joyce Davis

Ms. Emily Joyce Davis established this scholarship in honor of her late father, Mr. Evander Ayers Davis. Mr. Ayers was an alumni of North Carolina State University, received both an undergraduate degree in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Soils. He worked in Virginia as a County Farm Agent, served as President of the Virginia County Agents Association in 1966, and was a member of Alpha Gamma Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi Agricultural Fraternity. He spent most of his career in Southampton County, Virginia.
