Ms. Melanie R. Craig
Dr. Frank Rankin Craig was a native North Carolinian, a poultry veterinarian, and one of the nation’s foremost authorities on avian physiology. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Education and Poultry Science at NC State. After completing veterinary school at the University of Georgia in 1956, Dr. Craig returned to the Poultry Science Department at NC State. In 1969, he left NC State as a full professor to join Perdue Farms, Inc., as the Director of Health Services and in 1985, he was named to the position of Senior Vice President of Technical Services for Perdue.
