Ms. Sandra E. Latta, Mrs. Patricia H. Latta

Sandra E. Latta (Political Science, 1984) established this scholarship fund to support internships in the School of Public and International Affairs. Sandra’s own internship with US Representative W.G. (Bill) Hefner (D-NC) launched her federal career.

The endowment is also supported by Patricia H. Latta, a former civics teacher and town councilwoman, in memory of J. Edward Latta (Agronomy, 1950), whose career included federal civilian and military service.
