Glenn Sherrill is the Chairman and CEO of a third generation family owned steel construction company. SteelFab, Inc. has 10 plants and multiple offices across the United States and is the largest privately owned steel fabricator in the country. Glenn serves on the advisory boards for Poole College of Management and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in addition to working for SteelFab. He resides in Charlotte and has two sons.
Impact
What inspired you to establish a scholarship at the Poole College of Management and what do you hope it will accomplish?
I wanted to give back to the University and College that gave me a great education and helped prepare me for my career.
I hope students take advantage of their time at NC State and become life long learners. There is no reason to be board when there is so much to learn about the world.
