My degree is BS ChE 1985. After working as a process engineer for 3 years, I moved into sales, first in the petrochemical industry and then in 1999 I moved into medical sales. I am with ThermoFisher Scientific. My proudest achievements are my children, Kelly and Daniel Snyder, who are both studying at University of Texas. Kelly will graduate in May 2016 and plans to be an elementary school teacher. She is also an accomplished dancer and choreographer. Daniel is studying mechanical engineering and will graduate May 2019. My husband Bryan and I live in Kingwood, TX, which is a suburb of Houston. In my spare time I enjoy singing and playing my flute. Bryan is an avid outdoorsman and we love to travel.

Impact

I was blessed to be able to attend NC State on what was then the premier scholarship: the Caldwell. This preceded the Park and was a full merit based scholarship, covering tuition, room and board, books, etc. I always knew I would like to pay it forward one day. I am so excited to know that I am now doing so.
