NSF S-STEM Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- be a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or Admitted Refugee
- full-time enrollment in mathematics
- demonstrate financial need (by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at www.fafsa.ed.gov)
- demonstrate academic ability or potential
- undergraduate students are eligible for S-STEM scholarships in their junior and senior years
Scholarship Renewal Criteria:
- maintain minimum GPA of 3.0
- complete at least 30 credit hours each academic year (undergraduate students)
- complete at least 18 credit hours each academic year (graduate students)
- make satisfactory progress towards degree
- maintain positive student image consistent with academic scholars
- continue to meet the federal financial aid requirements
- continue as a full-time student in mathematics at NC State University
- participate in all required S-STEMS scholar-related activities
- complete a program survey
