Michael G. and Elizabeth A. Holmquist Endowed Scholarship

This is a standing scholarship that is awarded to one or more Exploratory Students (or former Exploratory Studies Students) who have demonstrated outstanding and effective leadership, professional development, and commitment to improving their community or the NC State community. The recipient must be a full-time student for the duration of the award.

Eligibility:

  • Current Exploratory Students or current students who have matriculated out of Exp. Studies into a major
  • Demonstrated impact on local or campus community in their time at NC State
  • Completed USC 101, 102, and/or USC 298 with a B or better
  • Cumulative GPA 2.75 or higher
  • Maintain full-time enrollment
