Hubert Byrd Family Scholarship in Soil Science

Merit and need based scholarships students with a major or minor in Soil Science. Preference to students who have attended NC State or another post secondary institution for a minimum of two years; and/or students who are residents of North Carolina; and/or students who have experience in soils/land judging; and or students who demonstrate a significant interest in careers in the field of soil science either through their areas of study or through involvement in the soil science field through internships, undergraduate research, work experience and/or co-curricular experiences.
