Culp Family Scholarship Endowment

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must pursue a degree in the Wilson College of Textiles and preference will be given as follows:

- First preference will be given to students from Gaston County who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry.

- Second preference will be given to students from Gaston County who are pursuing and undergraduate degree in the Wilson College of Textiles.

- Third preference will be given to students who reside in rural North Carolina counties, currently defined as Tier 1 and 2 as determined by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry.

- Fourth preference will be given to students who reside in rural North Carolina counties, currently defined as Tier 1 and 2 as determined by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center, who are pursuing any undergraduate degree in the Wilson College of Textiles.

Eligible student(s) must major in one of the Wilson College of Textiles degree programs, and demonstrate leadership, civic engagement and/or other notable scholarly achievements.

Wilson College of Textiles scholarship recipients must complete an average of 30 credit hours per academic year. This number includes courses taken through dual enrollment, AP/IB, summer school and transfer. In your 4th or final year of enrollment, you can average less than 30 credit hours as long as you complete all graduation requirements by the end of the academic year. The academic year for credit hour review is defined as fall, spring and summer. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75
