Edward E. & Kay T. Hood Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a resident of North Carolina
• Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA (apply annually by the University deadline)
• Maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA
• Must be majoring in one of the following programs:

College of Science – any major
College of Engineering – any major
College of Natural Resources – Pulp & Paper
College of Textiles – Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences – Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Zoology.

• Maintain full time enrollment
• Remain in an undergraduate program pursuing your first degree
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
• You may not be eligible to receive another major University award in conjunction with this award
• Your total awards cannot exceed the cost of attendance
