Bernel E. Hall, Jr. Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Poole College of Management. Preference will be given students who have demonstrated experience in or a commitment to working with the black male community and/or are residents of eastern North Carolina. These counties are considered in the eastern region of the state: Beaufort, Bertie, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, New Hanover, North Hampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Robeson, Sampson, Tyrrell, Washington, Wayne and Wilson.
