Flad Architecture Scholarship

Distributions from the Fund will be used to provide need-based scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the School of Architecture. Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria, with greater preference given to students who meet a greater number of the criteria:

a) Students who have demonstrated experience living or working in diverse environments and have demonstrated interest in enhancing the diversity of the profession of architecture.

b) Students who are in at least their third year.

Awards will be determined by the Dean, or their designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. Awards will be for one academic year and may be renewable regardless of financial need, and based on specific criteria being met; the recipient will be informed of the criteria when the award is made.
