Jean E. and Walter E. Richardson Scholarship Endowment

Support for one or more outstanding students pursuing a degree in Mathematics or Statistics in the College of Sciences. This scholarship shall be used for continuing students in the college, not for entering freshmen. Awards are to be made by the dean of the college or his/her designee, in accordance with the established procedures for awarding merit-based scholarships with financial need. Awards shall be for one academic year and may be renewable if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA in their major and a 3.0 GPA overall, and student is informed of the criteria when the original award is made.
