PetDesk Scholarship for Equity in Veterinary Medicine

Provide need-based scholarships for students pursuing a DVM degree. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated interest in equity, diversity, or social justice for the Black community by participating in community activities and/or organizations that support this focus. If not available, 2nd preference will be given to students who have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with historically underserved or marginalized populations. Awards will be made by CVM Dean, or their designee in accordance with established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. PetDesk would like to have one scholarship recipient in each of the 4 class years if possible
