Robert Brady Thomas Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Brady Thomas Memorial scholarship was established by Ms. M. Louise Thomas in memory of her brother, a 1941 graduate of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. In order to qualify for this award the recipient must meet the following requirements:

• Classified as a rising junior in either Horticultural Science or Landscape Architecture
• Graduate of a North Carolina high school
• Minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA
• Demonstrated financial need
• Maintain full time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
• Remain in the appropriate curriculum pursuing first undergraduate degree
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic progress
• Demonstrated record of campus and/or community involvement

Conditions

• Receipt of a major university award may impact eligibility for this award
• Total financial aid, including this scholarship and any “outside” awards, may not exceed the cost of attendance
• Recipients meeting the requirements listed above are given priority consideration for funding for the next academic year
